What is the Make a Difference Program all about?

It's about giving back! It's about reaching out and helping others who are less fortunate than we are and need our help. Our focus is on benefiting women and children and is designed to provide education, health care and clean water to help improve their lives and give them enhanced opportunity to live happy, fulfilling and productive lives. Part of every product purchase is allocated to this program directly. This program is a big part of Australiana's greater purpose.

Are all our ingredients sourced from Australia?

Many are, but not all.  All Australian native extracts are sourced from the best producers in Australia. Other items we use in our products are sourced from the USA and various worldwide locations.

What is Australiana Botanicals policy on quality?

We make every effort to source the very best and do not compromise on quality of raw material.  In Australia, we source from farms producing 100% pure, 100% natural, and 100% traceable Australian botanicals.

What is Australiana Botanicals policy on indigenous producers, eco-friendly practices and sustainability?

We support all three of these values and require our suppliers to do the same.

How does Australiana Botanicals compare to other brands?

Our focus is on product safety, efficacy, benefits and your enjoyment. We do NOT use inferior ingredients. We do NOT use harmful ingredients. We do NOT make product to fit a price. We do NOT dilute/ fractionate our products with cheap, useless fillers to reduce the manufacturing cost. We do NOT use artificial fragances or compromise quality. Our products perform to the highest standards.

Where does Australiana source its ingredients?

Australia and the USA. Only high grade, as pure and as fresh as possible are used.

Are all ingredients organic?

Most of our ingredients are fully organic, however, there are some that come from remote areas of the world that cannot formally be graded as organic.

Do you test your product on animals?

No. We have zero tolerance for animal cruelty. We test products on ourselves and our family. That's how confident we are of their safety.

Are your products TGA or FDA approved?

We manufacture within all applicable regulatory guidelines in an approved facility.  We meet, or exceed, all required standards.

Can I use essential oils while I'm pregnant?

Generally yes, as we do not use any harmful chemicals. However people can have individual allergies to certain plants. If you have any concerns you should consult your personal care physician prior to use.

Can I use multiple products at once?

Yes. Some of the products will enhance the effects of others.

How long will my product last?

That depends entirely on how you treat and store your product. Normally, under ideal conditions it will be good for 2 years at least.  Unsanitary handling, or storing your product in overly warm environments will shorten the shelf life of your product.

I have very sensitive skin can I use all products?

Every one’s skin is different so it is impossible to tell if yours might respond differently. If you have sensitive skin we recommend you perform a patch test according to the instructions on this site.

How do I perform a Patch Test?

Choose a small, discreet, patch of skin on your body, such as behind an arm or behind an ear. Then apply a small amount of the product in question, according to the product directions, and rub it in. Allow it to dry. Do not wash that area for at least 24 hours and watch for signs of a reaction such as abnormal redness or irritation. If an adverse reaction occurs discontinue use. Please note that adverse reactions are the exception and are not common.
